Four people falling asleep, four dreams, four nightmares. Jule Flierl's, Hermann Heisig's, Thomas Proksch's and Claire Vivianne Sobottke's convincing dance and acting performance for Anna Nowicka's piece "Incomplete Tales of Several Journeys" was dark and melancholic. Constantly oscillating between a stage of cognitive silence into wild and uncontrolled movements and noises, the dance-performance totally carried me away. Located in an abandoned swimming-hall (Uferstudios), the uncanniness was underlined by Lars Bjerre's stunning stage design - a giant drawing merging with the character's dream-sceneries - and an abstract music performance by Klaus Janek. Sadly they only showed this piece twice in Berlin, but I hope Anna soon prepares her next dance-drama.
